Rob gave me a huge amount of incredibly useful information about the state of my foundation, different strategies for avoiding moisture, selling treatments for the foundation walls and floor, options for increasing the square footage of my house if I ever wanted to finish the basement, what to look for if I wanted to have the backyard graded to slope rain away from the house, the state of my sump pumps, how to deal with radon if I have a high reading, sewer line insurance, and probably more subjects which escapes me right now. I can’t recommend him enough. Seven out of five stars. Plus he’s a nice guy.

My husband and I are first time home-owners and neither of us have much experience with what goes in to keeping a house from falling down around your ears. Not only did Rob and Lynn do an intensely in-depth inspection (they were here for around 4.5 hours), they let us leverage their experience as contractors and builders. We asked about a million questions about why things in a house break and how to fix it and all were answered very thoroughly and with kindness and consideration to our experience level. I generally don’t take the time to write reviews, but this was an exception. Against the wishes of my real estate agent I went rogue and shopped around for my Home Inspector on my own. And I’m certainly glad I did. Rob and Lynn both showed up to do the inspection on my new house and they encouraged my wife and I to follow them around. So glad I did. I learned a ton of ideas for preventative maintenance on my new home and they did a great job of finding problems with it that I wouldn’t have guessed someone could spot. They were efficient and made the drive over to Lawrence from Lee’s Summit. This is the third home I’ve bought but the absolute best Home inspection I’ve gotten.
Hopefully this is my last home purchase for awhile but if I end up moving again I will definitely use ATM Home Inspection.

Rob was able to meet my timeframe and sent me a very detailed report, complete with pictures, diagrams and a clear breakdown of what was working, what wasn’t, any immediate concerns and recommendations.
